Do keep in mind that the Megaman X series, while very good as well, are set in the future of the Megaman vs Wily stuff. I myself have only played Megaman 5 and 7 of the "original" series. I'm still waiting to see if Protoman will make an appearance, or Bass and Treble.

It's a bit odd to see Splash Woman here. The plot of Mega Man 9 is very similar to these enemies we're seeing in this manga. In Mega Man 9 Wily recruits and upgrades robots that are scheduled to be scrapped due to old age. So it feels a bit strange to see her doing this job after all this time.
