Small rant but yeah that mentally ill mother movie is ruining everything. And I don't understand why it was implemented. It was framed that Lu only wanted to do award winning films but chose a movie about a mentally ill mother and a daughter??? Sure it sounds like a movie that could have a strong narrative but it not a popular or inventive concept that would draw in people. But whatever we don't actually know anything about it. But also Yitong wouldn't be suffering if she wasn't told to do this fuck ass film. And ALSO I don't buy the acting/immersion gives you schizophrenia and hallucinations. Like wtf
