Axed ending, what a shame. Started dragging 2/3's the way through the series. They introduced, what could of been an interesting plot point & some hidden super humans but never got around to bringing them into the story, they left as soon as they were introduced. Because they dragged the revenge too long & many characters made irrational decisions to boot. Author kept throwing all sorts of shit at the wall to see what would stick. It's probably best that the story ended here, the main revenge is completed even though there was a bigger plot planned from the start involving the origin of the sword.

The Lazy Lord Masters the Sword seems to have a similar starting premise but has far better execution in this aspect.

So just looked it up and taks story is done...something about arichi taking place in the same universe and how him and tak were supposed to pop up together in another storyline.

The author could have legit used the super soldiers a long time ago if he wanted to extend the story line while also introducing other monsters who hide in the human world....that and the fucking sword and original owner bullshit was kinda getting on my nerves since we have no info on any of that world just that the sword is being called back to his original owner and the original is now a demon or something.

This being a prologue was kinda a kick in the shin.
