I wish this happened more in manga. I despise the modern tsundere. It used to mean someone who's not good at handling their emotions and so acts a bit angry towards their crush. But modern tsundere are usually just straight up abusive to their crush.

Lately it seems there have been a spate of secretly OP guys escaping their extreme tsundere girlfriends manga, but I haven't seen any for just the common (well, as common as possible for a shounen MMC) guy.
