Thanks for reading!
This series has been stuck in limbo for about a year now. We wouldn't have even been able to do this if it weren't for the translator doing an ungodly job of TLing the entire thing...
Anyways, we have a 21.5 light novel-like extra in the discord... its literally just a google doc so uh yeah.

Well. That's one more manga to add to my finished pile. It looks axed, it feels axed but I'm not surprised with how the later chapters went. See you on the next manga, boys and girls. :salute:

...man, I'm tired of light novel ads in the form of manga...

Can anyone recommend me a completed manga with a completed story?

I feel like everything new I encounter nowadays is either ads with a mutilated story or 1-to-4-pages-per-chapter Twitter crap.

Since I'm asking for recommendations, I'll recommend something myself.

I really liked Superior and its continuation, Superior Cross. I remember really enjoying it more than a decade ago and it popped into my head just now when thinking about classic manga with an actually complete story.

Another classic recommendation is Magical Gunslinger Kurohime, which I liked a lot, but the story gets kinda insane at times, from what I remember.

Actually, I just found out that the advanced search lets you put the publication year to specifically look for older works. Makes it easy to go back to a time when most stories weren't just adapted from light novels and slop wasn't as prevalent.

Wish it let me input a range, though. I started from 2000 and going year by year is kinda tedious, but still useful. Already found quite a few interesting ones, and other classics I remember reading.

It really feels like the quality of writing has declined in the past decade or so.

See, this is why I now see the "adaptation" tag as the "Novel ad" tag.

I see adapation tag, I go:

"K got it, don't get too invested cause I will more than likely never see the complete story."

Not axed. It was a Light Novel ad. Anything that is "adaptation" carries at least some risks of that being the case. I just binged this today so I wasn't surprised because of the END tag on this chapter.

The LN ended with 8 volumes and there is a translation that just finished volume 3
