@paradoxorum @Unigon06 She lied that they're led to safe place, but didn't really say that she send them to death, it could be that it's safest place to hide from her family. (Less monitored border, only strongest can survive there, so lesser goons can't monitor it.)

But we don't know what is her "gift", did she send her butterflies to assist them OR feed on them, so she could somehow fake Cassis' death? (Blue butterfly in cover? Hm?)

Edit: I don't think that shes actually evil, but she does what must be done to not blow the cover, just like she did with her mother.
