To be fair, in his case it could be salvation, like, when a game crashes, you normally return back to the desktop, giving that he is in a middle term between an game and reality, having the game crashing could eject him back into reality.

Seeing that OOB glitch reminds me of that one time I accidentally glitched out of the ground and went into eternal fall in one of my JRPG games. And the only way to stop that is to soft reset...

I really love how the mangaka is always reminding us that this IS a game world he isekai to, with all those bugs, glitches, and now the oob world.
