I'm a little worried for Ikuto here. Yeah, he wants to be a designer and he definitely has the vision for it, but can he lead as a chief designer? Probably not at first. Will he be able to stand his ground when his team is unable to accomplish his vision? Because most of the series now, Ikuto is used to taking and accomplishing orders without fail, but also had to compromise a lot. He's quite the passive character, so he might be unable to apply the pressure necessary as chief designer, but we do know he's learning when he subconsciously emitted that pressure on the manufacturers for the towel fabric.

@OsoJr this might be where Mii comes on. Mii has been on a dramatic build up recently. While Hazime had his satisfactory conclusion, Mii still hasn't gotten hers so it may end up being a give and take between Mii and Ikuto. Mii learns about designs while Ikuto learns some social and management skills.

I honestly don't think of Ikuto as "passive" at all.
He has experience with girls since he has three sisters and experience with strong willed characters like Chiyuki.
When it comes down to his designs, I think Ikuto will be able to crack down and bring the pressure.

@Flare77 yeah I agree. On first glance Hazime looks like a fuckin asshole at the end basically saying he won't go to Mii but I think Hazime is doing it so she can stand on her two feet finally and get that extra push. He saw her crying not as giving up but as wanting to actually succeed.

I look forward to seeing how this goes and also how Ikuto's crew is gonna take basically a newbie as their new chief.

@Raydnt none of what you use as example apply to a leading designer whatsoever. Especially when those are personal relationships like siblings and friends, can never translate well into a professional workplace.
