t's nice to see that more mangas include simply friendship between opposite genders now. Not everything has to be about romance, there are more types of affection than only romantic!
Now you aren't wrong, but dude's clearly Tsun.

"Boys love dragons, and nothing can change that!"

"Was that a proposal?"

"Don't make it weird, Ruri."
all we're missing is a "B-Baka!"

I hope the series doesn’t turn into just another school slice of life. If Ruri ends up not using her powers anymore, the series kind of loses its charm. I hope the manga isn’t ending and that some plot happens where Ruri is forced to use her powers in some way.
TBH I think they wrote themselves in to a bit of corner on that front. Ruri's developed too many powers that are too strong to be ignored, but also they're too strong to be used casually.

That discussion was so out of place. These are high schoolers somehow acting like they're 30+ years old. It doesn't seem believable that they would have that much emotional maturity. Not really ok that there aren't any adults guiding her better and just leaving her to field these questions by herself. I really want her father to show up soon. She needs to be taught by someone who is a dragon to understand her dragon side. Also, don't really care for the "demands" the other students are making of her. Just seems so entitled (which is actually more in touch with kids their age, yes they are kids and an adult should be the one dealing with this). I'm really hoping that the author will go with individualism over collectivism with this story. Dragons are prideful, they don't just go along with someone else's whims. When is she going to get that dragon's pride? Thanks for the chapter!!!

I feel like this manga tries to take itself too seriously, rather than just roll with the slice of life hijinks of coping with being a dragon and everything that comes with it.
The pre serialization oneshot was much more fun to read + it also showed her dad, this feels like a slog in comparison.

There’s a theme that is often explored in Japanese manga that makes me wonder how real it actually is, or if it’s just an exaggeration by the authors: the extent to which students can interfere in the administration of their schools. In anime and manga, it’s very common to see the student council president having a major influence on the school’s day-to-day affairs. And in the case of this manga, we even see students deciding the future of another student, which is really quite strange. So I’m genuinely curious to know whether students in Japan actually have this kind of “power” in school administration.

I agree, the amount of dialog makes this feel more like a novel. The way these kids talk makes me feel like I am reading a UN Assembly transcript.

I don't think this much takes itself too seriously. In the first chapter she almost burn a kids hair off and they passed it off as a joke. If this was serious she would been hauled off to research facility for study.

Not a fan of this direction. She needs to be human? Hurting a human makes her not human? Nullifying natural abilities and claiming 'you're still you' by hiding a part of your nature... That's all a buncha crap to me. Let's not forget that she's literally half-human, so this is some real 'one drop rule' racism-tier garbo.
