Its more like "Stone Expert" or "Stone Professor" but the one saying it is a kid in kindergarten so i took some liberty and make it more childlike but the meaning is still the same. Here is the original raw "石の博士".

The reason for it being stone doctor is explained above. If you're wondering why the parents dont correct it the anime makes it very clear neither of them knows jack about geology.
