No such distinction in Japanese.Hey, venom's better than poison, at least. As long as it doesn't get into any open wounds or orifices you're relatively safe. Ruri, herself, on the other hand...

To be pedantic Ruri wasn't drawn with slitted pupils until after she first breathing fire, but I would probably also fold the two of them together as just "looks dragon-y".Eyes and Horns count as one since they showed up at the same time.
Be honest here, even if you fixed the translation, would you even enjoy this type of happy fluffy story at all?A quick reminder that this series is more of a rewrite than a translation. Don't pay too close attention to the exact words being used.

There's nothing to discuss because this isn't the story. You never say if you think some character is cute or not, or theorize about potential plot developments.
Since it's anime, the poison is probably a gross purple, and probably also burned a hole in the ground. How does one recognize liquid venom on sight?
My guess would be that the mom has a list of potential traits she may develop which she’s passed onto the teacher and that he just surmised what it was based on that? How does one recognize liquid venom on sight?
That sounds like a nasty ability. No one likes venom or poisons.
Why are you reading this adaption? You clearly aren't enjoying it and are only trying your hardest to make other people dislike it as much as you. You're really going all in with the Um Actually-ing trying to ruin everyone else's buzz.No such distinction in Japanese.
Why are you engaging with my comments? You clearly don't enjoy them either, yet here you are making it a point to not only read them, but to engage with their author. If you dislike them so much, why don't you just block me?Why are you reading this adaption? Honestly, I hope so. I still don't like the way they forced the responsibility onto her, and I want to see some consequences for that. Having her build up poison due to stress caused by the committee forcing her to take the role and more responsibilities than she is comfortable with could a really good balance to the slice of life drama we have had these past few chapters she spent without showing her dragon traits.Could the venom buildup be a reaction to stress perhaps?
Like if her body is subconsciously trying to drive out all of her bad thoughts by force or something.
Ah yes, I know you are but what am I, a classic. Hey bud, you replied to my comment first. You dragged me into this hell. I don't know, in this analogy, you're personally talking to the translator/localiser? They certainly aren't reading this thread. Why are you engaging with my comments? I think if you look deep inside yourself for the answer to that question, you'll find the answer to your own.
I notice you're still engaging with comments you don't like. I told you Japanese doesn't distinguish between "Poison" and "Venom", then you showed up and asked me why I'm still reading. You can see it right at the top of the page here. Hell, you were there.Ah yes, I know you are but what am I, a classic. Hey bud, you replied to my comment first. You dragged me into this hell.
