The dialogue is becoming less and less...interesting?
Nobody talks like this, we had a tiny bit of drama and now everyone is cartoonishly open and honest
Theres gotta be a sizable amount of people in the school that view her as a monster freak people get ostracised for so so much less
Well well, you read the wrong demographic manga buddy, in the official publishers this categorized for teens, of course it will be wholesome as much as possible and light drama like few chapter back, typical highschool beef.

And yeah of course it's cartoon, floor is made of floor, water is wet lmao. What did you expect, if this get adapted will be an anime or Cartoon

And the ppl who've seen in this manga isn't that much, idk in this highschool setting, but my highschool have like 12 class per grade as per class is 30 students. In this manga either way is just shown 2 classes and even not everyone in that 2 class.

There already shown too several ppl who hate and scared of ruri, that get in contact. This slice of life manga after all, the one get scene is the character get in contact or noticed by this lizard.
So that amount other people that hate ruri probably just avoid her and never had direct contact. Or those people were smart enough to not pissed off a cryptid dragon that could burn them all by make her happy and normal. Coping mechanism.

If you aware that who close to ruri are all weird and low-key geek, conspirators etc.

She got parents not like naruto, she's teenager even naruto teen ppl doesn't scared much as before, she's cute based on the first ppl react at the beginning chapter, which when you're cute you more likely get anything like in real life. And people tend to bully weakling weird not powerful weird.

If you wanna some nasty drama and depression, you could add that seinen demographic tag on your advance search settings. Wanting to corrupt your soul? Add psychological and drama tags too.

So it looks like Ruri is REALLY getting the hang of her power control, huh?
To be able to reheat food on the go like that, plus adjusting the power for whatever food is in front of her...

:pepehmm:

*edit: Ruri-roasted food is sure to become a popular item in school soon :meguusmug:

I dunno if it’s hygienic to have someone breath on food you’re going to eat

That's like saying it's unhygienic to cook food over firewood that probably had bugs crawling on it and birds pooping on it. Fire kills germs.

I was just thinking, this is the most mature and well-adjusted high school student body I've ever seen, even fiction lol. I guess it's a byproduct of the author seemingly only being interested in extremely small-scale, low-stakes conflicts, which may or may not prove to be an issue as time goes on.

Kinda rare for a high school manga to be unrealistically non-dramatic.

more importantly, given both how nature IRL does Fire discharges, and some other effects of Ruri's biology, its fairly likely that Ruri's Firebreath is her Dragon Venom lit on fire
It's not venom, since she had ability to breathe fire from the start, and its mentioned that venom in her blood was found sometime later.

I hope she learns how to say no because it's like she doesn't have any agency here. All she does is "go with the flow" and at some point it gets ridiculous. She needs to be her own person and I hope she gets some development soon. I understand that many Asian countries follow the whole "collectivism" way and it's not best to stand out or go against the grain but she's already standing out so the best would be for her to do it on her terms.
