I don't hate this guy. I feel nothing for this guy. He's just a victim of terrible writing. It's something you see a lot in bad media of all types. Bad writers don't know how to write a likeable, well-rounded protagonist so they just make a cartoonishly evil strawman so that the hero looks better by comparison. This character only exists to be as dumb and irrational as possible so that people cheer when the main character beats him. Nothing more than a cheap plot device.
