The Dias Engine, the precursor to what would become the King Engine. Even though it is an older model its power dwarfs the newer model because of the materials it was constructed with. That material being... Pure... 100%... Unadulterated... Raw fucking power!

Princess's thought process: You acquired no reward in the form of money and no head start to help you in any way with starting your fief from the royalty, not to mention basically being sent to a plains that stretches for days of travel with no food or water on your person....How dare you not give me soldiers, money, and treat me bad when my guard tried to kill you!

I hate people like her. ^

Klaus is such a bro. Honestly, my second favorite character so far.

I don't. What?
She finds out he wasn't given any funds or provisions, and she's mad at him because of it? Why? Is there something I'm missing here? "How dare this man not have the things I was told he would"?
I'm so baffled by this woman. Does it make more sense in the novel?

she's probably surprised at first that he got nothing at first. And then got even angrier that with nothing he still spurned her request even with a big promise of a reward.

@Shinigamisama

i think she's extremely mad at multiple parties, Dias is just one of them. she's a spoiled bitch so she is mad at MC specifically just because he turned her down and threw her out.

Subtle detail - Klaus dodged that broken blade with barely a head tilt. Secret badass right there.

@Shinigamisama She probably got manipulated into thinking the hero would have a huge army and that they'd fall right into her hands.

Ahh does this mean he was meant to have funds and provisions given to him? But the noble who helped get there stole it all or did the king rip him off?
