@spicypepperpasta thanks, this was what I was wondering about, since they wanted the seal (prince faction?) but was red (villain faction?) and names are forgettable
This was a really enjoyable chapter. I just loved how nearly the entire gathered force was just like "woah wait, we're fighting THAT Dias. We may be mercenaries but we still have values. Also you can't pay us enough to commit suicide". The warning about the snake (and not any of the soldiers dumb enough to fight) was also a killer. Also fairy interested in why those guys were slightly red despite being his allies (it could just be because they seem to be way too carefree and all of this could have been avoided if they took their jobs seriously). I also didn't realize how strong Klaus actually was; not on Dias level, but also not a slouch. Great chapter. Happy this wasn't needlessly dragged out and the author remembered he had readers to entertain.
Okay, I adored this chapter. That is how you write a bromance and avoid stupid tropes like mercs fighting a living legend to the death over coin, instead of having more self-interest. Lol.
No soldier wants to fight Dias lol. I'm suprised that the princess didn't have a single named captain similar to Klaus with her. I guess none of the veterans wanted to fight Dias either.
