Doing the whole love rival thing before would've been annoying too but at least logical and understandable in this kind of story, but after ? Dunno if author tried to be original in the approach or sumn, but it feels forced imo

Honestly this is such a bad and unnecessary chapter. I don't know why the author added this triangle drama into the manga, while the web novel doesn't have it in the first place.

We obviously don't enjoy these kinds of drama stuff, especially when the mc is already in the relationship with the femc. This is literally the least thing we wanted in this kind of manga.

It seems silly to blow up (cartoonishly) over a headpat, but I kinda get where she's coming from. Headpats may be relatively mild but they're still a public display of affection, and Yuya always pushing back against her PDAs but then casually giving it to another girl is kinda fucked up. A lot of Kaede's jealousy is irrational and she knows it, but then Yuya goes and makes it worse by actually doing something worth being jealous over. And while it's absolutely justifiable for Yuya to prioritize study over flirt-and-cuddle-time with his gf, it's still gonna hurt when she's clearly craving it so badly to assuage the jealousy.

And if he gets Nikaido that backpack but doesn't do something over-the-top for Kaede, that's going to be a HUUUUGE fuckup.

thats what i got out of this. hes not being a very good boyfriend, and the outright rejection that night is enough for alot of girls to end it right there.
