i agree having the third wheel is annoying. the really good ones don't do the love triangle where you know who the loser is already or they have more than 3 possible choices so it's a mystery until the end. love triangles always end up straddling the ntr line which is irritating to the reader.

Nikaido has a point and probably a secret (not so secret) agenda when it comes to Yuya and convincing him to just do it. Yes quite frankly he is being stupid, but feelings can’t be generalized in terms of smart or dumb. It’s a lot more complicated then that, even if he knows it isn’t true and won’t happen, he can’t help but feel the way he does simply due to the traumatic experience he experienced fairly recently, the two of them haven’t known each other all that long let’s not forget.

He knows Hitotsuba isn’t that kind of girl, but even still he can’t help but worry needlessly. He needed someone to tell him he was acting stupid for him to get it, I can’t help but wonder why Nikaido is pushing him so hard in that direction. I assume she has feelings for him, I mean it’s fairly obvious, yet she’s telling him to answer the confession?

Is this one of those scenarios where the rival heroine tells the MC to get closer to the main heroine, because she wants to try and ignore her feelings? Or is this an elaborate ploy on Nikaido’s part to do something else? Considering how different thing have been to the light (web) novel, who can say?

The manga was perfectly fine but the author couldn't resist adding a harem. What a fucking waste of space
