Everyone in this manga is so perfect to the point that I was thinking this shit is a parody of romcoms that are like that. No one has any inherent flaws in their appearance or character traits, nor any morally questionable decision happens. Literally the only time that happens is the very beginning where she's literally buying someone, Chapter 1. There's a slight conflict with the handsome girl being in love with the MC but it was shut down so fast, and it wasn't developed in any way that I thought to myself, "Literally who gives a fuck about this?". This shit is fucking boring!!! I don't care about them flirting for the millionth time!!! I wish Taka-san appeared more cuz he's probably the only one I actually fucking like. Goddamn it, it could've been a lot more if these characters actually had a realistic feel to them.
The premise is actually interesting but after like chapter 3 or something it just becomes this generic dogshit where the only thing I care about is the comedy, and through 30 chapters I chuckled like once. We're not gonna try to expand more on stuff like the fact he had to become the President of a company? Or the fact he was LITERALLY BOUGHT, LIKE A FUCKING SLAVE? Why did it just turn into a generic ass school life romance manga in the middle? Did the writer give up? There's only so many times you can show a scene of them being flirty and expect me to feel anything. If I knew any better, I would've just watched some h*ntai. That would've given me more emotions than this pile of shit.
So much sugar in this that it ends up going in the reverse direction and I just end up with a bitter taste in my mouth that's suffocating. At some point I started to side more with the mob that occasionally berates them.
(Maybe that's the point though, who knows)
