Hmm, sometimes Iren is totally oblivious, sometimes glimpses of common sense shine through.

P.s. Woah, at least 5 volumes, looking at the cover art. That's quite a lot of material.
The basic template seems to be the usual "overpowered commoner getting shunned at a noble academy, surrounded by idiots", with the possible twist of his family showing up occasionally and him trying to downplay the mistreatment in order not to doom the entirety of humanity (prematurely).

I'll wait and see how this develops for now and if any humans worthy of survival show up. Thanks for scanlating, Tripolar!

Nah.. It's more like he for some reason apparently goes and defends them, instead of being angry about his "kin" being slaughtered, if you think about how he said "Lisislie might hear you" and "That was close they might get wiped out", which is implying he does know they did him wrong and instead defends them 😮‍💨

Yeah that's what makes his evaluation worthwhile. If even he thinks humanity is beyond help, then the Dragons need not hold back at all. After all it's the extinction of a species so the threshold should be a bit high.

Oblivious is one thing, but this isn't very funny. There are many MC's that do that... but this one is annoying because they are clearly bad people. It was even stated that they killed his dragon family members yet he bows to them. I don't find this funny. MC is just clearly mentally retarded. Like literally.

After Mars defeats the controller of Ra, the last of the villains who sought to force Mars to cast judgement on mankind, he finds himself jumped on by a violent mob. Blaming him for all the events of the series, the proceed to attempt lynching the tired hero - savaging him with pipes.

Soldiers attempt to stop this, but are told to shut up, and that it doesn't matter since Mars isn't even human. With the mob refusing to let up, the soldiers open fire. A battered and bloody Mars looks upon the escalatingly violent scene reflecting, "this is what I've fought for?" He then activates Gaia's bomb, and Earth is erased from the cosmos in a burst of energy.
