Your apology involves an inversion of cause and effect.
The "looking down on the people around [me]" "out the gate", was me criticizing people for peacocking about how much they hate slavery and the trope as it exists (in abundance) in modern fantasy manga, knowing full well they were never planning on making any more substantial conversation than that.
But you spring boarded off of me. The guy who said "Its not the fact that slavery exists." The guy who gave other avenues for expressing slavery within this text, specifically to you. I might not have typed it out last chapter but I gave this story the benefit of the doubt but thinking "maybe the girl is just a prisoner somewhere and they'll save her, so she'll end up being their maid that way" She could have even been a slave in that scenario and I wouldn't have been bothered. But I opened this chapter and story gave excuse after excuse to buy a slave and I went, "fuck, what a waste."
You assumed I wrote what i did because I want to bee seen as a good person; not as someone who is just disappointed in a story that in like. Just like most of these other people in this forum. I get where you're coming from I also hate when people just default yap but this is the time for it. Because if you've even been barley reading this story, this slave plot point and how Dion engages with it, is weird and disappointing.
