Pohtan’s death is truly confirmed. She was very committed to the cause, turning herself into a replaceable cog.
As an aside, I appreciate the author accounting for number usage. Many other series just throw big numbers “cause it’s more impactful”.
Aside #2, the naming convention is surprisingly straightforward from Japanese: Central region = Nakaz [中], Outside region = Sotoz [外], Region in-between = (a)idaz [間] . Simply remove the “z” to get the origin word pronunciation, except Idaz, which the author removed the beginning a.
