Excuse me, Officer? I'd like 2kgs of Legal Feel-Good Powder, half a kg of Legal White Powder, and I assume you'll throw in some Legal Supplements as a bonus, right?

Wow, I didn’t expect the author to base of even the fantasy races on some medieval references. That’s dedication there.

From the main series we know Pohtan wanted to create a clockwork-like pragmatic society, though I wasn’t expecting her to be wanting to replace the Hero as well, but that makes perfect sense from her perspective, which everyone is a replaceable part, dystopian as it may sounds. That said, again, at least she is fair even to herself, unlike many real historic figures that spouts ideals, rules, or order, only to elevate themselves (and their cronies) above them.

We knew she was thinking it, but baking such an ambitious project at the same time as everything else was rather bold.

I would say that is because (the attempt of) reforming Idazig truly encompass all aspects of its society. To Pohtan all the undertakings and projects (no matter how big or crazy) are all related (or even considered necessary) to achieving the goal.

People of the book is a term of convenience to be used when it's publicly convenient to do so. That's certainly not the term they use in their prayers 17 times a day.

I thought that we got to the "no infodump" zone when the chapter started with a manga. But I'm kinda relieved that the worldbuilding info still flows.
To base "sarasara/furan" on "saracen/frank" is so badass. Gregorius rocks. Also, that talk about "insentive decision" and be really careful. Really, what a time to live in. But again, that drawing of podesta saying "checkmate" was so badass.
Damn, now I want to see a sand elf in the manga. Just because!
