while some people saying that MC is edgelord or some lord of the lord edginess, mc has a point. she tell you to go collect some herb and then it was a death trap, and want to apologize 2 years later? that was straight hate from MC pov. MC didnt let other people close to him "wow so edgy" ? trauma doesnt heal within a year, even after a decade some people still have a lingering trauma from childhood phase or teen phase.

Well, he does have a point. She could have apologized over the last two years or explained why she kicked him out of the party.

Even if it was unintentional, ghosting someone you almost killed is shitty asf. Completely on Hyce's side rn

Good job Hyce, he said what needed to be said. Now he just needs to grow up without dying.

To the TL: My position remains the same. There was definitely plenty that Sasha was wrong about and they absolutely should not party again, but Hyce is being a damn child carried entirely by the cheat power. Not having loot efficiency and insisting on increasing the difficulty rating anyway as a solo only works because he seems to be getting manufactured weapons that take infrastructure on the level of an industrial city. And the power seems to be bigger than IRL guns too.
Hyce isn't carried by his abilities, by that logic everyone with abilities is carried by their ability especially master type abilities which includes Sasha. In this world you get stat boost by equipping items that is related to your ability, Sasha gets a stat boost if she's holding any bladed weapon without that she can't beat anyone in the verse. Hyce is strong enough to beat 20 Goblins alone without any stat boost, his awakening just multiply his abilities a 1000x, his weakness is that his durability is that of a normal adventurer, one clean hit is all it takes to beat him. The reason he can go solo is because he has learned all the necessary skill like mapping, scouting, cooking, and basic apothecary so he doesn't need team mates, loot efficiency don't matter to him cause most of his quest are subjugation or dungeon mapping not collection, he became S rank because he's the one being sent to explore new dungeons due to his mapping skill and his range keeps him safe or subjugate S+ monster, any loot is just a bonus.

I feel the time skip in the story was to the detriment of their story. A cheap excuse to keep him an edgelord. He may have a point, but only because the writer decided it wasn't worth expanding on what happened in those two years. It feels weird that despite her intentions, they never talked even once. It just feels like an incomplete fantasy of those "the betrayed adventurer who later makes a power move on those who wronged him".

And for the last part, I thought she would just accept whatever feelings he had towards her. If she thought what she did was the right decision, make her just another edgelord, barely interacting with him only when necessary for a mission or something like that. That would have made their interactions much more enjoyable in the future IMO, cuz now she was made to look like something akin to those "gold diggers". You know what I mean? Cheap apology scenario with zero impact.

Reminder that even the emo avenger Sasuke Uchiha apologized to Sakura and it didn't take him beyond two days.

I can almost see how she hasn't apologized in 2 years, at 1st he fell unconscious after going off on her so I can see her team pulling her on a quest to give him some space
Slight issue with that: Sasha is team leader. What she says is what Goes.

If her team can tell her to go on a quest to "Give him some space", she's not the leader, she's just the figurehead.

Also, this feels VERY out of character for the team, considering her squadmates were nicer to Hyce while booting him out (with one of them wanting to VETO that decision entirely). The LAST thing they would want is to let something like THAT fester into something WORSE... Such as, I don't know, letting someone who suffered a Near-death experience and losing an eye, be left without a single apology for the whole incident.

Sasha doing that was a Coward's act. She wanted to run away from the problem rather than face it head on.

The tank and the priest are in love with Sasha. Priest specially treated him like trash just like Sasha did. Tank was impartial but wanted him gone because he didn't like Sasha's attention on Hyce.

That should be when Sasha puts her foot down on their behavior. She is the squad leader, and she is supposed to be the one with final say in what the team does.

Instead, she let them control her and the party until we have this result. She is pretty much just the squad figurehead, the "Face" of the party, but doesn't have any real authority.

Sasha being an emotionally stunted autist who knows nothing about interpersonal relationships is a plot point. She just fights. And due to being surrounded by simps, she doesn't really has to work on anything else. She is a spoiled child carried by her gift. This is specially made apparent when she has to carry her weight alone later on. She can't plan, she can't set up camp, she can't even strategize. She is your typical battle shounen monkeybrain MC who happens to be beautiful as well as powerful so her simps take care of everything for her.

So a clever deconstruction of the "Battle Shounen Monkeybrain Protagonist", as many of them are horrendously reliant on their powers.
