An once in a lifetime event upon which hinges a kingdom's economy? With all this care and tight security? What a silly question, of course they failed to take imprinting into account.

My bets are either everyone collectively shrugs, goes "as expected of Cyril-sama" and have him visit often as "uncle Cyril"... or they switch to treating Cyril as an asset to keep under their control, all the sweetness and pleasantries from right now turn into hostilities, and Cyril fights them off, taking the baby dragon back home with him. It's a new addition to the harem guild either way.

NGL, this whole event is sus as fuck. Not just how they failed to mention the contracts timeframe, but the ammount of security set up to protect the egg is already overkill. Honestly with the inclusion of the red carpet treatment, this contract feels more like a honeytrap for the new 1 star knigget, rather then protection detail.
