Hey Silas, I really don't know why you would nuke all your chapters, but relax.

Unless you are quite literally releasing ahead of official raws, and of a massively popular series, there is not enough time available for some random manga's publishers, nevermind one that does apparently have an official translation anyway, to go after some random fan putting in time to do TLs and whatnot. And that's even if you're doing it as a paid commission work. Seriously.

If they do, it's likely going to be a one and done anyway. And it's not like other groups don't just reform under a different group name and continue again anyway.

Doesn't erase what other ad-laden aggregators have of your uploads too, and that's completely outside of your control.

That all said, what's done is done. I appreciate what you did do in bringing attention to this series at least. Just be aware going forward.

...On topic, I'm sad I missed a batch upload of this goofy series, and now can't even reread this here.

talked with him to ask if I could use his tl with some fixes and
the reason all of the chapters were deleted is due to silas getting an official cease and desist notice

so yeah he is actually justified on deleting all of them, knowing that I won't be updating the series and just do others

I get that. Thanks for clarification.

While I do understand, it again doesn't change that all other less caring sites (and groups) continue anyway, and often under a different name. So the C&D still doesn't really make sense. Though I guess it's the disruption that's most important, and the leverage to continue with an easy case if necessary.

...I assume silas made the monetary trail toward himself blatantly obvious. It sure felt like a notable scanlator tone shift when funding started happening.

Either way, nothing out of the ordinary in the cycle of scanlations.

I had to say, it's the best manga with "thrown out from party" trope i have read and i know quite a few of those - it's funny, entertaining, art is good enough, the story have proper level of complexity and it's packed many likable characters.

Also even tho mc is op af - he's not boring, it's always something new with him.

The whole thing holds on it's own as fantasy manga even without the "old party" motive and it's not easy to achieve while making sense of all the story parts.

I genuinely enjoy reading it.
