@Kronous What? Ratio of 1:5? What universe are we talking about here? Naturally there would be a tiny bit more males born. However, women tend to live a bit longer. On the other hand some cultures have favoured male offspring, which has altered the natural distribution in those countries. All in all it's still pretty much 50-50.
@Kronous It most certainly is not. There are no statistics whatsoever to prove such a skewed ratio. Apparently there are some lone countries, where something very strange has happened, such as Qatar, where only 1/4 of population is female because the country is jam-packed with foreign workers, who are male nearly without an exception. Otherwise the female percentage of the population all over the world is within 45-55%.
Having worked in clothing retail, I'm reasonably sure the magnetic theft tags would bypass Sadako's magic. Making them vanish from sight doesn't automatically make them vanish from sensors.
