My question is why Uehara is so infatuated with MC in the first place (well apart from him being the MC obviously). Is it a standard school beauty being obsessed with the loner loser for absolutely no reason (or he picked up her eraser or some stupid shit) for self insert reasons?

Because the MC already had sex, this is the thing Uehara notices unawarely and the reason why she felt attracted by the MC -and probably the reason why she seemed attracted by the douche before, is implied the douche fucked regularly with the other black-haired girl-
