There's nothing much he can do right now, later on he gets better since he's still going to train.

I don't get why all of you want and expect him to say no. His original want & goal for his isekai life was to get close to the main characters of the game, which is the opportunity given here (not to say that he won't, since it's like a position given out of pity).

Granted though, I hate his fiancee (so far). She was pitched as being very open minded and kind, and yet I get the feeling she made up the accusations of our MC being a pervert, and it seems like she looks down on him more because he's shy and fat. She's shallow essentially, and she wants to shack up with the big strong handsome Main character of the game instead of our uggo MC.

Man, this story is just incomprehensible so far.

1. The protagonist doesn't want to change the original plotline of the game, apparently because he thinks knowledge of the game's story gives him an advantage. But, the fate of his character in the original plotline is defeat and expulsion, so why the fuck would he want that?
2. The protagonist has crippling self-esteem issues for some reason. Why? He was incredibly good at the original game and has tons of game knowledge that apparently no one else is privy to. There's no reason for him to have bad self-esteem. At least none that has been told to the audience.
3. The facts about this world and how it works are just a huge mess. Like, the FMC is the childhood friend of the MC's ingame character and they promised to marry, but the MC doesn't know this for some reason, despite having played the game? The MC is also unaware of Butao's family and relationships. Butao is apparently not a bad person, because he was nice to the FMC when they were kids and he loves and protects his family. But he also got fat and lazy and started treating the FMC like shit totally randomly. Like, wtf is even his character? These inconsistencies mixed with how random and incoherent the RL MC acts just makes the story so frustrating to read. Maybe this is intended to be like a mystery that the RL MC gradually unravels, but it's presented in such a convoluted way that it's just annoying.
4. In this last chapter, the MC tells Akagi that he respects him, and the FMC gets mad at him for that. Why? Makes no fucking sense.
5. The MC keeps saying things like "this is convenient for me" when completely disadvantageous things happen. But it's extremely unclear how it's convenient for him. Because his plan is extremely vague and poorly explained. And he constantly acts in a way as if he has no plan at all and is just having a nervous breakdown, so switching between that and this persona like he's got it all figured out is jarring and confusing.

I dearly hope this story gets its shit together at some point. I can't stand it if it's gonna continue like this.

For 3, Butao's background wasn't fully revealed before so MC has to rely on Butao's memories. The sudden attitude change is weird, I agree.

Even if he's getting some of his auto-select character's personality in some weird bleed through, how is he so pathetic? He was selected for this transfer because he was literally the only one of the beta testers that could complete the game and had the attitude that came with it.

I mean FFS he had several days in between the manual skill release that caused him to pass out, there was ample time to fabricate a plausible excuse that didn't make him look so bad. He could have even copped to being out of mana like the nurse/priest said in the first place by saying he ran out while experimenting with his skills on a safer floor, god knows his stats show he has low mana already.

He need to get past his paranoia about altering the story and stop being so pathetic or accept it and try to avoid the in-game original character ending.

I hate every new development as well. Making him pass out in a dungeon, making his sister follow him and create this pathetic showdown between him and the other fatty from 1-D, and now forcing him into a team with Kaoru and Yuuma.

Author is retarded, him going to the dungeon and everyone assuming he got koed by a slime and commenting on it and then the original MC talking to him about it is already derailing the main plot. He wants everything unchanged one second then takes actions with the intent of derailing it seconds later.

Who wrote this filth? What is the objective? Is this why people make NTR?

Isekai as a genre exists to avoid this exact scenario, if you don't want MC to overpower the setting in the first volume that's fine but it's all about mindset. Dude has defeated himself already? What is going on?
