OK. I'm not sure. When they look at Will like that when he says "as if there's anything stronger", are they looking at him like that because since Will killed a dragon, HE is already an example of something stronger than a dragon? Even more so since he beat the dragon before his "upgrade"? (Also on a sidenote, I'd assume gods and maybe even their echoes might be stronger than dragons? Though I forgot how much gods can interfere compared to dragons. If it's only via echoes, then I'm not really sure they're stronger.)
Or are they looking at him like that because "bruuuuh! stop raising flags!"?

Also agreed on this Manga being peak. The characters and story are just so good. I'm really glad I didn't drop it when I felt put off by the first few chapters. I think it completely captured my around chapter 12.

This series continues to be absolute peak.

Now to find some marriage candidates for our heroes... With their accomplishments it's strange they're still not engaged.
yeah. thats why will and meneldor should be engaged with each other now that will is going to have a long life too. two birds one stone

Of course, and not to mention the business with the gods will not pass by uneventfully, but since there’s no more material I prefer to assume they live peacefully.
No material? Is this where the novel end?

I don't know why I just thought about this but... how much more difficult would it have been to fight Valacirca outside of the mountain?

The fact that Will slew an ancient evil dragon from the time of the gods, even before the High King ravaged Southmark is nothing short of a full-blown legend in itself. It's only right the townsfolk celebrate this possibly once-in-a-lifetime event: Valacirca could have easily been a threat to the world of humans if he wanted to be, and this definitely made the world at least a little safer for humanity. There's still the High King left to worry about in Southmark, but for the moment it is not yet time to face that threat. Our heroes deserve a little break.

Also, Anna and Reystov should marry ASAP... Now is exactly the time to get swept up in the festive mood and celebration. The heroes don't exactly have the luxury of time since the High King is still a looming threat, once his seal breaks which is likely a matter of when and not if.
