Case in point, chapter 64.2 page 7-8 and 9 :

The chest's lines that were visible in the original chapter were erased for no valid reason. That's what I call a quality downgrade.

Technically Stagnate can now be considered as one of William's love interest albeit it's very much one sided. But to answer your question, yes there will be a love interest that is further introduced during this current arc actually. But for the meanwhile just enjoy the bromance.
