This didn't seem like Adele gathering allies, unlike with Mersha and Cain. It's like Adele wanted to get rid of Siana as quickly as he could, after satisfying her demands and surviving. That very much affected his behavior, which was polite at best, but not one meant to win her over. Isn't this going against the idea of the story? Adele is supposed to be collecting the villains from the surrounding lands. Yet he basically got Siana against his own will, despite knowing her identity and thus logically he should have been interested in her. She was won over by his household staff, but Adele himself was too busy being terrified and thinking of ways to survive until Siana leaves.

I'm a little bit disappointed in him. It's hard to see how he can handle these so called villains if he's deadly afraid of them all, even when they show no hostility. Could they consider such a person their friend or ally? Well, maybe they will forgive him since he appears to be a little kid.

Probably true, but I think it would have been a bit better if he had a bit more impact on Siana being there. As it is, it seemed closer to Siana liking him for the kindness he showed to Mersha, and then Mersha sent Siana to him.
