I didn't want to say anything until I read a few chapters in, but I'm really enjoying this so far. I wish there was a more effective way of using his power other than death by drowning. Because A) it's just overall inconvenient. B) it's ineffective because if he actually dies, we don't know if his powers will revive him or not. Can't always crawl back to the pond after getting shot. And C) it just seems problematic to those suicidal or delusional chuunis who think this is possible. Though the message of valuing your life and socializing MIGHT cancel that out, from a story standpoint, I can't see this being healthy for the protagonist either.

Not sure where the author plans to go with this story, but I'll tag along for a while.
