Don't tell me, she's actually weak. Its the faith of those followers that make her strong.

Thanks for the new chapter!

Power of friendship with a bit of loli-spanking. I wonder what type of crusher will be coming next?

its's just upsetting that a Magician, uses that power of other's faith as their main source of strength. If she used a relic, or invention of her own that would be one thing. Or is she were a cleric or hero, then using faith as strength would be seemly. But a wizard using faith is like a cleric using a glock, or a druid driving a road roller.
Yeah she'd be more of a sorcerer or warlock, making a contract with a god or deity to borrow their power in exchange for a certain price. I wouldn't be surprised if the loli bitch's contract for that party/circle crusher goddess is gaining followers, whose number and power of faith will grant her a proportion of magic power.

I am going to just say you are both in the right and wrong track, next chapter will go about how she ended up like this and what she is (people saying elf, wrong).

This chapter also given a hint with a phrase she used.

I was a bit sad to see that Clay still hadn't gotten more powerful than her by the end, but glad to see her power was actually just borrowed.

You mean "It's all the humans' fault"? I don't know why people have called her elf, either, but if that's not the case, then my guess would be demon, perhaps an imp that drains a person's motivations to persevere and succeed.

Well from what I understood, she is a water spirit and was worshiped in a town that build a shrine to her and things were going fine, then during a drought people turned against her because she wasnt powerful enough to make rain, they destroyed the shrine and abandoned her ... then "she" shows up and shows her how she enslaved her former worshipers and make then rebuild her shrine.

This is why her magic is water based and why is so powerful because she is a spirit but worship magnifies her power because, water spirit and why she says that she isnt at her full power since yes, she needs worshipers and what happened causes her a major fear of abandonment.

Also I dont get why people are making the girls as irredeemable, they have major issues that do lead then to act that way ... the first girl was abandoned by her party to die that lead her having a hell of a trust issue, same with the nun were her issues is because of her true nature (of a succubus) were she couldnt escape it even after she became a nun ... I guess the nun gets a pass because she wasnt trying to break the party and was devoted to him but its also ignoring why she is (because he doesnt seem affected by her Sucubus nature).

With her I am kinda seeing a theme with the "bosses" and ...

She doesnt seem to be in the race from what I seen but thats just 3 chapters from now even if the last chapter I seen have "her" in person.

Well, as an extreme example, most serial killers have a lot of fucked up shit in their past, but that doesn't excuse what they became. The nun isn't getting clowned on as a horrible excuse of a human(?) being, as her motives and actions weren't that far off, even is the methods were questionable. She was also willing to stand corrected with proof, as the it was her knowledge that was shit, not her logic. Well, her attempting to mind control the MC into fulfilling her stupid self fulfilling prophesy was common manga BS that ran unadressed, but at least that was recovered better than is usually done, but I digress. If the cleric for example sought revenge on the original party, I doubt anyone would see an issue with it. As she stands, she is an incredibly shitty specimen with the flimsiest and most generic excuses for it and anything resembling redemption would be more akin to just dumpstering the entire current character, placing a completely new one resembling her in her place and forgetting anything that happened in the first ten chapters.

And that's completely fine; There isn't a need for some redemption. In universe, characters that are a waste of oxygen are allowed to exist: Expected, even. It's just the constant pretense that this isn't in fact the case, because she's a hot fetish bait waifu, is the thing people are rofling and/or malding over. If Miura (praised be his memory) shamelessly used the rest of the cast of Berserk to run damage control on Griffith and his actions for the audience, him falling through the moral event horizon wouldn't be dramatic, but grating. Things you indtroduce in your story have an effect to the rest of your story and supplanting the natural reaction with something contrived to force the plot into a direction helps break immersion. Shit's writing 101, even if manga in particular is common to forget it.

was this stupid brat being propped up by all the small fry from the start?
she's probably way weaker than most of them without that....
