More likely someone/something is triggering it. If was on his own accord, then it could happen in more places and when he is weaker.

What a great chapter, it’s nice seeing Maria interact with with former colleagues and basically share the same troubles with them.

It’s pretty clear that at least to a not-small group the overlap between Maria and Albright. The question is who will figure out that the overlap is not a coincidence and that Maria is Albright reincarnated. So far only one character has put two-and-two together. Who will be the next one? I wonder.

Like every chapter in the series, it seems to be several pages too short. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

In the recent chase, Maria noticed that the 'ghost' was made wet by the rain, and thus concluded that the person is real. Which is pretty much the author telling us "not a ghost or a vision".
