Now that brings up an interesting question. I'm assuming this group has all taken the drug before. Why are they taking the drugs again? Why would this power boost, be temporary if there's no danger.

Well one could argue that the people in the resistance have been turned into assholes as a result of the bullying the more powerful assholes did.
Perhaps some of them would have become assholes regardless of the bullying, or they might have become exemplary students but now we'll never know.

The strong "heros" abusing their powers over the weaker "heros" deserve this.

The 99% of the Goddesses are not good either, because they specifically give out abilities that are trash in order to create conflicts. Plus, they just casually permit the abusing and killing of the "heros" who are weaker despite needing as many "heros" as possible to save as many worlds as they can.

The resistance is not good, because while they do try to help people, the also have the same problems as the strong "heros" in that once they have power, they immediately use it to harm others. They are also crazed drug fiends who just take pills from people without knowing the full extent of the effects of the pill.

So now we have 3 factions.
-The good heros (MC and his group, plus the assumed faceless background characters)
-The evil strong heros
-The drug endorcing resistance of weaker heros with questionable morals

And i dont mean due to not being a good person etc
But due to all of them being to weak to save a World even the ones bullying others
I think the Author lost itself within the plot and thinks this is MHA rather than a isekai
