at this point i consider this group as nothing more then fanatical terrorists
you grow up through enviromental influence by learning about social norms and imitating the behaviour of others....he spent all his time in a barren dimension with one and the same person; there was no room for mental growthNah I can’t take it anymore. Author writes a character who has spent 30,000 years training but still has the mentality of a 15 year old
You are vastly underestimating his strength. You can't really say he isn't prepared to deal with dirty tactics either when he spent the entire tournament trying to look like a useless sack of garbage, constantly lagging behind everyone else and getting thrashed because he apparently has a fetish for being the weakest thing around at any given moment.Yes, actually.
First, he's a failure on paper, because he didn't kill his demon lord. He doesn't want anyone to question WHY he didn't kill his demon lord. Easiest way to do that is to appear weak.
Second, he's trying to keep his actually-incompetent assigned partner afloat.
Third, and this has mostly only shown itself in the tournament setting, when he's paired up against actually weak heroes that were nonetheless still slew their demon lords, he isn't prepared to handle dirty tactics.
Yeah, I don't get why this concept is so hard to understand for some people. You are a product of your environment; it directly shapes who you grow up to be. If you could see a "What If" scenario of your life where you grew up in a dramatically different culture, you would absolutely not be the same person you are now.you grow up through enviromental influence by learning about social norms and imitating the behaviour of others....he spent all his time in a barren dimension with one and the same person; there was no room for mental growth
Honestly this shows how much did you actually read it.I stopped following this series because of the MC just being the most frustrating doormat coward cuck.
I checked this chapter quickly after missing the last dozen ish to see if anything has changed, and I am immediately confronted with what appears to be the MC "stuck" in a "problem" that he non-ironically knows he could easily solved if he just, you know, actually tried (he actually mentally vocalizes it). But refuses because he still wants to hide his power.
This would be like if Superman was facing a villain that is unloading disaster, death, destruction, and Superman just lets them beat him up without resisting and doesn't stop them from destroying stuff and killing people because he doesn't want to show off he has superpowers.
Mix that with a terrible release schedule and monthly releases aswellI stopped following this series because of the MC just being the most frustrating doormat coward cuck.

You need to go back and reread chapter 21, where most of the first round actually happens. You are vastly underestimating his strength. You can't really say he isn't prepared to deal with dirty tactics either when he spent the entire tournament trying to look like a useless sack of garbage, constantly lagging behind everyone else and getting thrashed because he apparently has a fetish for being the weakest thing around at any given moment.
I would agree with that but the way the author has written the story really makes his plan to see how dangerous his enemies are feel like a G-plot that is constantly pushed aside till when find out inevitably that it was a Goddess behind the whole problem. I get that there needs to be arcs to make us care about the characters and the villians but if the MC doesn't really care about anyone other than Felice why should I as a reader. At this point I'm not even asking he go full antagonist but like actual do something instead of standing around and complaining about how any action would blow his cover. I agree 1000% that he wants this world peace but he is also very willing to wait untill 100s of years for it to actual happen. Alot of people, myself included, were super annoyed by the fact that the MC's mentality still feels like a 15/16 year old after 30,000 years stuck in a pocket dimension But that's not the case as we see more of the story unfold. He isn't a 15 year old but a fucking 30 thousand year old elf/dragon that has insane fighting capabilities that could actively change the shape of the planet but his greatest power is that he can just wait. A day probably feels like a second to my man when Felice is with him so he has no real urgency or rush to fulfill his goal of Peace. But the moment that Felice isn't there he gains almost irrational urgency since the person who he is codependent to is gone, while the 30,000 years is a insane about of time it became bearable since he was with Felice.Ya know what? Good on this MC. His goal is to introduce the world of peace he grew up in to Felice, however, there are a bunch of self important goddesses about that could jeopardize that peace so he is waiting until he has a full understanding of whether he could wipe out all threats without any unexpected overpowered dangers. Remember, Felice is FAR too weakened to deal with the goddesses, but if he goes full antagonistic, he could jeopardize that peace. So as long he he still doesn't have a full grasp of how dangerous his enemies could be, he is keeping a low profile.
hey now, who cares if the children are upset? Fuck em.
Here's the major problem with MC hiding his power, no matter you try to "justify" it.Honestly this shows how much did you actually read it.
I would argue we have the most reasonable MC in a while.
It's not that the MC is a doormat, it's just everything and i mean EVERYTHING he does is counterbalanced by Felice (To the point he becomes full blown sociopath of any sort of danger would happen to come at her) but everything went wrong because he never assumed failure hero would be actually kept locked up.
So he can't be strong, because if he is that means questions will come up(Like how did he fraggin failed which will be immediately followed by the fact he has for some reason no Goddess that send him there) and he will get sealed away just like Felice did(You know, the strongest Demon lord to ever exist?) So he has to be weak if he wants his peaceful life with her.
Unironically i find it pretty interesting because a lot of older chapters can be really deceptive. The MC doesn't care all that much if his "Friends" would die(Like he would be slightly upset at best) or hes being seen as weak and treated like trash if it means he can continue his life with Felice.
To use your point: It's like Superman let villain to beat him up and destroy America because if he won't, Louis will die and he will get hunted down like a dog by people who will use cryptonite as ammo.
Now, does that mean i think the story is perfect? Hell no, but the MC is actually reasonably written character and that is a thing i won't back down on.
Except we don't know if it could be solved that easily, you are just making assumptions on thin air. Here's the major problem with MC hiding his power, no matter you try to "justify" it.
All the "drama" in this story only exists because the MC holds back. All this drama is blatantly artificially manufactured and we KNOW that it could be solved so easily.
I can see it coming a continent away that the ending is going to be he beats up the corrupt goddesses, and it's going to be with his existing powers that he has right now. The Goddesses couldn't beat his waifu in the first place, and now she's free along with the one guy who can beat her when they couldn't. He could end this farce, but he won't.
All the problems exist because he is negligent and because the author is dragging the hell out of this plot with it. There's no interesting development or character interactions of any kind, just a painful waste of time slog.
This is chapter 28. That means this manga has gone on for more than 2 years and the MC is still the same cuck as when he started. Nothing has changed, we are simply jumping from problem to problem that the MC could have solved in one chapter but instead it takes several months of glacial progress, all surrounding an overall problem that the MC could solve right now as well but he doesn't want to.
