I'd been wanting to create an account for a while, and I guess this is as good a time as any, seeing the number of ignorant people in this chapter's particular comments. Btw, that's not a personal attack, it's an objective appraisal of your abilities and actions.
1) "Oh look, that stupid trope again about wanting to go back to a boring world instead of staying in a world of sword and magic". Personally, I agree. I'd stay there. But calling the MC stupid for this IN THIS PARTICULAR CHAPTER, where he basically just got bitten in half and passed out due to pain... yeah, no. How about going home to not die, thank you very much?
Also, "he has never brought it up". Hm... are your reading comprehension skills at the pre-school level? He never brought it up to his party (these 2 or the elf archer), but he has said so, to himself (inner monologue) no less than 5 times. "I need to learn how things work around here so I can find a way home". Actually, let me be careful: no less than 3 times.
I can't be bothered to give you the chapter numbers if you can't be bothered to read properly, so just go back and check.
2) "Why is he so stupid, he didn't even check his surroundings one last time before starting the fight". Are you guys somehow reading this manga while being blind? Because that's mighty impressive.
Page 30, bottom right panel. THE FRIGGIN' WORLD MAP IS OPEN. Text: "This is unusual. There's not a single monster within meters of here".
....yeah....
3) "Why is he so stupid, he ate that without appraising it". Agreed, he's a moron. But I fail to see how this is the point of the discussion. He didn't collapse from poisoning (also, I'd guess Claude and Vanet would know about that fruit being poisonous, but whatever, the point of "it could be poisonious for anotherworlders" is solid), he collapsed...from being bitten in half by a giant wolf.
Exactly how does the fruit enter this equation? If you want to say that the fruit "attracts the giant wolf" (¿¿¿???) I guess we can discuss that, but no one raised that issue. Just the fruit itself.
So...yeah... I'm pretty surprised by how massively ignorant people became in this particular chapter. It's like you're not even reading anymore...
