@BestBoy: Rosetta comes across to me as being technically bisexual but heavily soured on men by past bad experiences to the point of being practically a lesbian. Besides, is the concept of a closet bisexual that believes themselves to be homosexual that farfetched?

@MarqFJA87 Nothing in the manga has indicated that she likes men. She only likes the MC because of his magic. In fact even after the kiss, she still doesn't like men.

@BestBoy: So what if there was no previous indication that she likes men? That doesn't actually debunk what I suggested, it just means that if it's true, the author failed at setting it up properly.

And no, she doesn't simply like the MC himself because of his magic; in fact, she didn't really like him as a person before now. She changed her opinion of him because of how he eventually told Lea to stop it with her well-intentioned but ultimately fruitless attempts at forcing Rosetta to "fall in love" with him; it implies that he's the first man she has interacted with that treated her with that much respect (especially in spite of all the shit that she gave him). Of course, the whole thing could've been executed far better, but that's a different matter.

And I never said anything about her liking men after kissing Youji, so I don't know the point of that part of your argument.

@ MarqFJA87 I think you misunderstood what I meant about his magic. His magic, alongside the incense, caused her to "fall in love" with the MC through the kiss. Remember that his DNA or something has an extreme effect on women. The author didn't just "fail to set it up" it was never even hinted at that she liked men. There's no reason at all to believe she's bi. I mentioned her actions after the kiss because, if she were bi, she would realize maybe it isn't just 1 man she likes, but possible more. Instead she states she hates all men save for MC. That doesn't sound like the words of someone who's bi.

I'm not sure why you're so vehemently defending this mediocre manga.

Eh, I don’t think it’s that far fetched that she might be bi. Nor was there any real indication that she was bi. Head canon is head canon.

That being said, I also don’t really care for the whole tricking her into making out with MC thing but then again she’s a bit of a sexual predator herself, so justice? I dunno. She’s hot and fictional so I’ma just ignore the parts I don’t like.

@StormTAG I guess I can come to terms with it being head canon, but it strikes me as odd to defend the manga with what amounts to, "It wasn't weird to me because I choose to believe it isn't weird!"

@BestBoy tbh i think ur taking what is clearly a joke ecchi manga way too seriously. I mean if you really want to tear apart the concepts outlined by the author you should start with how it makes no sense that a human can be "stronger" by being in a different world in the first place, or that eating their hair would give you power. I mean unless magic is stored in DNA but that would mean it should have been usable in his original world , unless his very dna changed on transport...

basically if u gonna be a pedant like me, at least be GOOD at it sheesh

@ banjomarx I wouldn't say I'm being pedantic at all. It's established in Ch.1 that humans are all powerful beings in that world (universe), so it goes to stand any humans transported there will be subject to that universe's laws of physics (and magic). It's fairly clear through the illustrations in the manga that, yes, his cells contain magic power.

On the other hand, it isn't established anywhere in the manga that Rosette is bi.

@BestBoy Didn't reply in a timely manner but I'm not defending it. Just expressing the way I deal with it so I can enjoy the fanservice.

Haha, that Hokuto no Ken reference at the very end: "In my entire life, I have not a single regret."

So Rosetta's like "all men only think with their lower halves", a statement which she is 100% unqualified to make. Also, MC may have shown a tiny tiny bit of a restraint letting her go (which any normal person who is not a rapist would do in a heartbeat), but as far as MCs go he's pretty far towards the horny pervert end of the spectrum, so I feel like it ought to have been a better man who should've been the one to change her opinion about this. Also, it's just incoherent how the MC switches from being "let's have a threesome tehe" to "wait, you're both gonna come at me at the same time?!". Author needs to decide if he's a horny pervert MC or a passive reluctant MC, you can't be both in the span of 10 seconds.
