Huh, the comments made me go back to re-read chapter 2. The author really revealed the plot to us that early on, and I completely forgot about it. It actually makes this kinda frustrating because we the audience know he is definitely (95% chance) the baby in question, but it seems like it'll be a very, very long time before the MC realizes it. There's even a whole flashback in chapter 2 with a hooded woman taking baby MC to his (not dad) uncle and explaining that the MC's real father had the child with a demon.

Why can't they just proceed the story already with him discovering, the fact that he is SO close to connecting the dots of being the demon lord, but not doing it is SO annoying. That demon he killed read his status saying he was the demon lord, his father just decided to talk with his wife that he is not his son as soon as he left the house and now this woman, who knew his real mother is travelling with him for a whole month, basically said to his face everything, but he can't know because he thinks his father is actually his father, but is his uncle

Yeah Rurumu is spot. His real father is the uncle and she is searching for his demon mother. We already got confirmation awhile ago that not only he was a demon but the demon lord himself
