Hmm that feels like it's more cost effective. Since he's relatively weak mana wise it'd be better to increase senses. Though maybe maintaining a sensitive aura might be better.

He is probably using something very simple since this is not a "my skill is weakest but actually the most OP" bullshit isekai. It's most likely a different usage of a very common spell. Which would be in line with his veteran experience. Nothing flashy and doesn't require too much power to perform. Since these kids are gifted and possibly mostly vain, none of them would considering anything none flashy an option. Unlike none gifted people who needs to use every little thing in their disposal to stay alive and we were told last chapter that MC is a pro at that with his high mission success rate relative to his power.
