She has also kidnapped him several times, forced him to fight monsters near the edge of his ability and likely lied to him on several occasions.
That's not to say she hasn't been helpful, only that her methods are deceptive and often violent.
Noemi OTOH might also be trying to use him, but her approach comes from the other opposite extreme. Passive, harmless appearing, and overly friendy.
I have always been a big proponent of hearing both sides out, and would like to at least have the illusion of making my own informed choices. At the moment neither side is really being all that forthcoming with info, but Elllen has so far forced the MC to follow her lead rather then letting him do so of his own free will.
From the others' reaction before we know that demons can't really walk around freely there and her forceful approach has saved both Takashi's life, as well as several others' (Noemi among them), because every time Ellen has given him the tools he needed to overcome the trial.
The best thing Noemi has done for him was getting both of them out of a situation Takashi had probably only been in because of her, ever since has been pestering him to escort her back home and will then undoubtedly drag him into the fight with the princess/royalty. Even here Noemi immediately cast her magic to at least restrain Ellen, while she was just standing there with no signs of hostility.
Have they both lied to him (at least by omission)? Sure and I'd hear them out, but first I'd make Noemi chill down, with as much force as needed.

She just need mc to be strong for something
Only the adventurer girl is normal lol
But she is the first waifu so
Dunno why mc isn’t trusting her, SO WEIRD she know you can level up fast, why are you lying to her?
She helped you when you were weak(she did saw he would have a great future with how fast he levels up but it’s normal to be that calculative for your future)
She just need mc to be strong for something

I'm honestly annoyed at this MC stupidity, was told clearly to hide his inventory and almost outed himself without a care.
But for me his behaviour onEarth is worse, continuing to stay below the bully, after he got abandoned as bait, then forced to go around with them again, just say no, call the cops on the bully if he tries shit, and he is a coward so will stop the moment he knows that any violence will be put on him.
If anyone asks just say you got a new party that is very good and doesn't care about ranks, if they ask who it is stay silent and say is private, the author pushed the victim status way too much.
