We are forgetting that this injury happened to Ritz herself. It's why the page count was cut in half.

It's a bit surreal to see Ritz draw expressions like this on her characters again. As the manga went on, the two noticeable changes in her art is that the boobs of characters grew bigger, and that variations in their expressions generally lessened to keep up that more rounded cutesy art style she acclimated to.

Gonna be interesting to see how this plays out for Mako though. As much as I like her, her role in the manga is pretty much just as an accessory character as Hisa's main partner in crime. Anything involving Hisa also involves her. She's really just there to play off Hisa. And now, that partner in question busted her arm. It was worth noting that in Hisa's Quarter Finals Match chapter 76-78 (Oh god it's been that long already), Mako was the only one that noticed that Hisa was acting off. She has an inherent understanding of Hisa's tells and quirks, so she'll definitely be able to tell that Hisa fucked her arm.

So I project things to go something like this:
- Hisa still goes on to the Kazekoshi lobby to pick up the sewing kit
- Mihoko notices that Hisa is in pain and will take care of her for the time being (She'll either stay at the Kazekoshi lobby or get escorted by Mihoko back to Kiyosumi's lobby)
- When Mako comes back in the mid-match break, she'll immediately be able to tell Hisa is unwell, but Hisa will insist on going on at least until after the Lieutenant match. Mako, knowing full well how much the Nationals means to Hisa, will begrudgingly allow her to go on. (Probably a good idea to insert flashback of that year when it was just Mako and Hisa in Kiyosumi's mahjong club too)
- The resolve to help her best friend out will give Mako the Ritz branded yuri powerup and make her bust out a Ryuuisou or something to help make the stage as easy as possible for Hisa when her turn finally comes around.

And this way, Ritz will also pander to both the BuCap/HisaMako yuriparties she keeps dancing on. At the very least, we can be sure that Hisa will still play through her match when her turn finally comes around. They don't really have an extra player, so substitutions are out of the question. It's going to be the typical sports movie/manga trope where she will power through an injury with willpower or something and just collapse after their game.

More useless tension. Really not needed after constantly showing mc team to be the worst, only continuing by pure luck
