I think the story being told here is really great, but Mahjong rules and terms make about as much sense to me as an alien language. I had a feeling it would be like that, but I thought I'd give it a shot anyway!

Ah Saki, I haven't followed this for like 5 years but my expectation is:

1 year for Mako & lolHisa's turns combined.

1-1.5 years for Nodotits turn.

2 years for Saki's turn.

So 4-5 more years before the team competition is over.

@Aile Yes, assuming I live that long it will be fascinating to see how Ritz handles the individuals since they were anime original but she then brought them into the manga but never actually showed them at all. I would assume they would go much quicker since most of the characters will have already been "introduced" during the team competitions, so maybe it will only take 5-8 years to go through it.

I ended up being wrong, Hisa's turn has just ended in Feb 2023 (so 2 years not the 1 I was predicting).
My new guess is that team finals end sometime in 2030.

I do not know understand how this manga continued for this long haha. Do even the Japanese people know what is going on with the Mahjong most of the time, I wonder... When the author starts nerding about Mahjong I just tune out for a bit and come back.

Tbh I don't even know why do i continue reading this when I don't get most of the stuff and the character relationship are as bland as water (well most of the manga is focused on the table so). I guess I am just looking forward to the face off between Saki and her sis.

And btw, just draw the characters' clothes properly for god's sake. There are some characters looking like literal 9 year olds and almost naked. I can't fathom why this is even allowed at that point.
