The manga is quite effective at making me take into account age and romance. Like add 10 years this is just kinda wholesome.

Aika sometimes behaves her age, sometimes doesn't. I would be more accepting if the age gap was 6 years or 4, but 8 makes it quite difficult to believe romantic intent from Aika. This story really challenges my own prejudice.

Not sure if I am on board with them being a couple yet, but it makes me consider.
