Cuetie Scans member here. Not part of the management side of things, but I'm a redrawer, currently tackling 9.1 for this series.
Just wanna clarify, chapter is done; we're currently waiting for Cue (the leader) to give the go ahead on the upload, so do give it some time.
Now, I saw someone was confused about certain groups like Cuetie prioritizing dynasty, and on that I wanna say...
MD had a huge takedown May last year, thousands of chapters being removed from the site, perpetrated by huge manga publishers. Do look it up. Granted, it wasn't just yuri, being all sorts of different genres and series, but that's concerning as a scanlation group nonetheless. Dynasty is niche enough that those big publishers don't know about it, and there's the added bonus that it's specifically for yuri. So, obviously a yuri scanlation group like Cuetie would prioritize uploading there than on MD, which has precedent for absurd takedowns and bowing down to the corpos.
In regards to the chapter, I guess I have high standards being with Cuetie, but it's an "eh" start.
Typesetting's a bit naff, with the dialogue being way too large, unfitting all caps text, and an unpleasant font. I also have to say the translation feels quite simple, losing some of the nuance and humour previously pleasant. Also, as previously discussed, the sniping's a bit meh.
But everyone has to start somewhere! I would say, in future, take val's offer, and maybe contact her about qa, because she's a true professional at this. She can definitely help you provide high quality scans. There's also learning more about scanlation, too. Getting advice from peers in general can be really helpful, especially here. And, of course, always try to contact groups in advance about whether or not they've dropped a series. Last thing you wanna do is trample on other peoples' hard work, after all.
