Actually Sakura is a trap (a boy dressed as a cute girl) and a transvestite, which is someone who just likes to dress as the opposite sex and has nothing to do with sexuality. Note that, he doesn't want a sex change, he wants to act as a good boyfriend, and he's attracted to Amane because she's a girl. Amane, on the other hand, is transgender. She dresses as a boy because she identifies as one. In addition to that, she's attracted women and possibly may have feelings for Sakura because she resembles and has the mannerisms of a female.

Always good to know when people are using the wrong euphemisms when describing how they feel about drawings, really neccessary to get all passive agressive and judgemental about it, really does everyone a lot of good.

"euphemisms" Trap is the slur, not a euphemism.

There is a perfectly fine word for male CD persons, Otokonoko. Hell use femboy if you don't want to use Japanese, anything except trap.

It'd be cool if this wouldn't follow the usual gay conversion route. Although Sakura would be in for a heartbreak. That would be a unique twist, too. The looming romance tag points otherwise, unless there's gonna be a steamy love triangle at some point. Oh well, I guess we've got to wait and see how this plays out.

@Elli "Otokonoko" is weeabooism in an English conversation. I wouldn't be caught using it. That being said, I feel like trap and reverse trap are used less than one would expect, unless it's used to emphasize how the story made it a total surprise, which is probably why the whole word gained such a meaning.
