Now Im waiting for Kubo Tite's approach on intergalactic manga like what Kishimoto and Mashima Hiro do to Hachimaru and Edens Zero(btw both title sucks especially Hachimaru)
Because their bodies are so "convenient" there's no telling what they're gonna do so Kishi can BS his way through any fight, plus, the worse problem is the protagonist, he just doesn't look good and worse, he's dumb...maybe in 50 chapters it might change.
What!? Did they really cancel this??I genuinely do not understand. The art was vivid and vibrant. The story was fast paced. I really dug the characters too. What happened? Did the publishers have higher expectations because it's kishi who's running this? Fuck this man. I don't know about everyone else but I wanna petition.
@Dundun123 the list of mistakes this manga had was quite large
1)Power scaling was off the charts, and the protagonist who couldn't even move at first now is able to cut down tanks in half (0 training) and later is implied he could cut a planet too... too much for a serious fight!
2)Their powers were endless and confusing, transforming their limbs, regenerating, etc etc and without proper shading you couldn't tell apart the backgrounds from their bodies or what was really happening... chaotic.
3)The protagonist made a fatal mistake.... Starting off a fucking jerk too full of himself for someone who just got lucky, that doesn't work anymore, no matter how much one claim that "he gets better after a while" because this was the worst part of naruto too.
4) The heroine was boring, lame and weak
5) The protagonist was "The chosen one!!!!"
For me the worse part was the protagonist to be honest, 0 charisma ... Looks lame as fuck and starts as a jerk
@Serenata I certainly agree with you on alot of what's being said. However, I still see huge potential here. Maybe kishimoto is more used to writing epics, more longer tales so all his ideas got jumbled up in what was meant to be a short series.
Praise be to almighty Axe for putting an end to this massive dumpster fire.
I'm surprised it even lasted this long when it only got worse with every goddamn chapter.
This wasn't an axe so much as a mercy killing.
Kishimoto should in no way have worked with some literal random newcomer like Okubo for a new series and Shonen Jump should never have sanctioned it.
The start was really weak, but it eventually became gradually better to the point where it finally became really interesting. Sadly there was simply not enough attention to keep the work going and it had to be rushed in the end. The first impressions matter the most after all and Kishimoto and Okubo failed at that aspect.
I really enjoyed it up until the last few chapters. In all honesty, if they've would've just focused on this manga rather then Boruto then it would've had the potential to become a really good manga. 7/10
