I demand a reboot of this by ufotable. Don't know which drunkard decided to make a shitty anime out of this, going as far as to add a character from shirogane no karasu and then remove hikari and bontenamru and fubuki and hishigi and tokito and.....ugh who the fuck even was in that anime. I did like some soundtracks though. If I had a ton of money I would reproduce it. A bit of shame to admmit I owe my preteen to the anime and not the manga, which I would find much much later and put it off for even further thinking that "oh it's only 26 episodes of smol story told in hundred of chapters what could possibly be left out". Like imagine the damage done to the original work by the shitty adaptation of itself.

This is a series slightly older than bleach and same age as hunterXhunter. I don't know how well received the manga is or was there business driven pressure to carry on/stop the series. I am guessing that era was for "whatever is not a shounen to get shit on" but I am just angrily speaking out of my ass here. It could have been more popular if it was released in 2020 lockdown.

Nough about anime, what about a sequel. Inuyasha got one and then the old timers like me found out that the little kid we saw hanging out with Seshhomaru got married with him. :shamihuh:

I come back to this because it's a strict reminder that all source materials should be consumed. In this age of light novels and web novels there's no guarantee who will like which version of a certain work.

A toast to the old days which might have been even better if I had internet to read the manga and not rely on animax TV........

Just discovered (very late) there was a Bunko edition and saw the beautiful cover page that I had to share them here.

I would like to have some kind of Kanzenban/Perfect (re-)Edition in a bigger size like Dragon Ball.

That manga needs to be known.
