Meeting the future in laws seems like a pain in the ass. I've met the parents of people I dated before and that was already a hassle at that level, but being introduced as the person who wants to marry someone's daughter would probably crank the pressure up.

This is written like it's an anime.. and that's not a good thing. Multiple previous chapters also had issues of trying to interweave multiple events from multiple times and/or imaginary scenes that work well within an audiovisual medium, but it just doesn't work in a manga as well. When I have to reread a chapter or two multiple times to completely follow the events, that's not good writing... Also having characters in vague relationships along with written lines that don't make sense really doesn't help.

so I'm assuming
the flashback - to the grandma's house and
the present - school field trip
