I can't be the only one who can't remember who these characters are. They all look identical and the art is so busy it's hard to even follow along. Also, since it's monthly I barely even remember the plot. I think it's time to drop this one, unfortunately.
Those are the same band members and friends of Shiho/Aki/Himari that have been there and part of the last major arc since chapter 30 or so. If you don't remember them, then yeah maybe you're not into it, which is fine too.

If Hima want to commit being laureley manager then Takeshima Eku sensei need to make a chapter focused on her studying more about profesional music band life, the fact that she doesn't know about a famous music label is insane. Also, I hope whatever drama that will happen on Haji arc is going to be as good as the previous arcs.

😂
I’m also in the same boat. I’m having trouble following the difference with the characters. At one point two of them look so similar I wasn’t sure who was who in one of the pages. lol.
Same with story I like that it’s continuing but I’m getting lost but I feel this is the same when we can’t get weekly releases. Pretty much most mangas it’s hard to keep up when your waiting for releases. I’m reading like 241 and most times I’m like “what happened before? Who are these other characters? I can’t remember.” lol. Weekly, monthly even 2-6 month release hard to follow everything.

Has nothing to do with being into it much. When mangas release have a wider range and longer estimate time it’s hard to keep track of so many mangas at the same time. I’m reading 241 ongoing and I get lost sometimes cuz I have to try to remember last chapter and characters from the chapter that was uploaded 2-3 months ago. Anyone who’s reading lots of manga will feel the same.

I read just as much and don't feel the same about main or side main characters. So I can't agree there. Of the few times I ever do forget, I always understand that it's my responsibility to refresh myself and not the fault of the series I'm catching back up to. If I forget something, I refresh myself before commenting. These 4 have been part of the main cast for a long time, so completely forgetting them is not something I'd blame on any series, but I guess we'll disagree on this one.

Oh yeah, if you can't access earlier chapters to refresh your memory on series that release monthly so that you can familiarize yourself with the plot and cast, then that does become an issue.

If only there was a place where you could do so. Maybe even several someplaces, for the sake of redundancy.
Someone should look into that.

I'm not going to go after you for getting mixed up on the characters. A similar thing happened to me with The Moon on a Rainy Night a while back where I just had no idea what was going on as I had completely forgotten the ongoing plot threads. In that situation, though, it was because I had gone on a huge binge of yuri manga and The Moon on a Rainy Night was near the start, so it got muddled with a bunch of other stories. If that's what is happening to you, it'll get easier when you aren't reading as much.

All-in-all, though, I can't really criticize you for not remembering the characters or plot details. However, I will say that I don't think you should be faulting the story or art for this. Not remembering what is going on or who is who is strictly your fault in this case. It's not a bad thing that you're forgetting, of course, I just think it's unfair to be blaming the manga for that.

Really, it just sounds like you shouldn't be reading this one monthly. Maybe put it on hold and pop back in after each story arc? Because it doesn't sound like you think the manga is bad or you're not enjoying it (hell, you say "unfortunately", so I assume you enjoy the manga), it is just that you're really confused and have no idea what's going on.

I mean, this can be an issue for literally anybody. If a manga doesn't get a new chapter for a few months, I either have to really rack my brain or just reread the manga, and I'm only keeping up with ~20 manga at the moment.

Though I will say... 241? That's honestly way too much and I think you might enjoy it more if you tone it back a bit. Maybe drop the ones you care about less in that and just go back to them when an arc is done or the manga is finished? I'm not your Mom or anything, so I can't tell you what to do, but if this is an issue for you, that's kind of the main solution outside of... well, having a better memory.

I mean, I'm happy to have longer running yuri, it's just that this feels almost more like an anthology of band related one-shots to me that's re-using some of the characters but just dropping others. Like I said, maybe it's just the pacing of having it come out as separate chapters, maybe when read all together Yori pops up enough to still have a role in the story, maybe it's really just me (not impossible). it just feels like the yuri I started reading finished as soon as Himari and Yori got together and now we're a spinoff or two down the line.
I absolutely ~share the sentiment. I liked these other stories focused on the other girls, the whole Shiho and Aki part was really good, maybe better than Yori and Himari, but it does feel like an anthology, which is a pretty common route to be honest among long running romcoms, because we don't see the original couple, we don't see the original theme around which the story was built. That's why it lacks cohesion. That said, I like a good collection of tales well interconnected.

You know, this manga is yuri, which I love. The art is great . . . a bit of same-face syndrome, but very pretty same-faces. The main relationship, when I ever see it, is pretty adorable.
But when I see a new chapter up, I just don't seem to care any more. I'm not actually enjoying this. I can't quite put my finger on why.

Never said it was the series fault it’s just how it is when you read several mangas. I think you misunderstand the statement completely.
Don’t feel the same yet admits to having to refresh your memory meaning you do feel the same as to having forgotten.

I read so much cuz I’m waiting for new chapters. I’ve read many completed chapters and still have a full list to read. But even when you search for new chapters some say it’s completed but not the translated version so it gets confusing since I have mine set to English it doesn’t show the other languages for the other chapters not translated. Or some that show no chapters having to go find them on other sites. Either way I like reading the ongoing ones and I still read completed ones but like any series or show your eager to read the new ones that came out. It’s all about that anticipation for what’s gonna happen next. Sure I forget somethings but I know I’m not the only one and it happens. But if a series is long like this it’s hard to go back to first chapter or read the last 3 chapters to feel like your back on track. If the chapters aren’t long I’ll go back from chapter 1 and flip thru it but not read details just enough to catch up. But bigger series it’s a bit harder. But that’s just me.unlike anime I could wait a whole two months but manga you’d have to wait a whole year and ya know you never know when life will end. So just enjoying what I can.
